3 photos of my own

I took this photo in the evening and i just fell in love with the calm lighting and colors in this photo. My favorite part is the distress on the paint of the hood i find it very nostaglic.
I chose this photo of a plant because I tend to shy away from anything that has to do with nature and for some reason i took this photo while out watching the Hillbilly Hellcats play at the Tambien, I thought it was a beautiful image.
This photo i took at a recent car show at Krazy Kreations. I chose this one because I enjoy the 50's era, and these ladies in the photo are those of the pin up/50's era of today and it interests me how a certain point in time is in a sense being re-lived.

Large City Exhibitions

Paul Sietsema. Film still from Figure 3. 2008. 16mm film (black and white and color, silent), 16 min. The Museum of Modern Art. Fund for the Twenty-First Century. © 2009 Paul Sietsema

In this black and white photo I was immediately drawn to the high contrast and abstracted forms within the piece. although the photo is not clear, that is what makes it beautiful.

Rob Nypels, Desoriƫntatie 4763 -Auvergne, Massif Central, France 2006 - 2009

I really enjoyed this particular photograph because i do not usually like landscapes and the abstract approach used really gives this photo great depth and contrast.

Burk Uzzle Woodstock: 40th Anniversary. Laurence Miller Gallery Exhibition. July 7 - August 20, 2009

I like this photograph from a Woodstock exhibition because it has the sense of nostalgia that i admire and it is really truthful.
